Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their cash.
Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, newcomers can take their time and strategize without having to make quick selections.
It is also easier to play for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino receives seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
