Caribbean Poker Rules and Hints
December 25th, 2018 by Noelle

Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other players are given five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount equal to the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out chips even with your original bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
