Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about any other, more experienced individuals taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also much simpler to participate in for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
