Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker player claims never to have looked over the shadow of an upcoming poker steam – they are either lying or they have not been wagering very long. Seeing as we are assumingly (almost all of us) playing poker for one purpose – to make $$$$, it would make sense that we would gamble appropriately to maximize winnings. Now let’s say you are up $100 off of a $100 deposit, and you take a huge blow in a NL game and your bankroll is only has remaining one hundred and twenty dollars. You have lost $80 in a round where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a ten to one advantage. And that amateur! He sucked you out on the river? – Well stop right here. This is a classic opportunity for a fresh gambler to begin tilting.
