Caribbean Poker Codes and Hints
May 13th, 2025 by Noelle

Poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer saying "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum equal to the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays money even with your initial bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
